Anyone who knows me well knows that I detest General Motors. Until recently, my family and I have been loyal owners of GM vehicles for as long as anyone can remember. But the relationship soured for me when bad things started to happen - blowing an engine in my Blazer at 48,000 miles, which GM refused to pay for. I made the mistake of replacing the engine and driving it past 100,000 - the "magic mark" at which point the engineered-in obsolecence kicked in...dumping coolant on my feet and stranding me in rush-hour traffic one particularly rainy morning. I said "enough" and traded the heap on a Toyota Highlander.
And now I read about this, and I hate them just a little bit more.

AAAHHHHH!!!

My friend and co-worker David pointed me (via his blog) to a fine story. It is a worthy read. A bit long (caution: don't try to print it out, is is roughly 55 pages long, so unless you have a fast printer and paper/time to spare...otherwise save a tree)
